Early records of the church which stood on this corner first used the name "Antiock" on Saturday before the 1st Sabbath in August 1889 when the name was changed from Missionary Baptist Church of Christ at Strouds Creek. The church "discontinued services for an indefinite time" on 10 June 1956. The school consolidated with Tolar ISD in 1945. Only the cemetery and the grassy, tree-shaded corner where the church once stood remain. Location: Approximately 4.6 miles north of Tolar on Farm Road 56
